Promoting ethical research, scientific advancements,
and technology.
Human life begins at the moment of fertilization. Scientifically, this is a fact. Ethically, this means that every human being is worthy of protection regardless of age, sex, or ability. Yet some scientists view young lives as less valuable and as a tool for experimentation. As a result, billions of tiny lives are cast aside, manipulated, and destroyed in the name of science. Eliminating young lives is not the answer to today’s problems and tomorrow’s cures. Such acts become a modern-day form of genocide and eugenics. Real scientific progress upholds and protects every human life, always seeking to heal without prejudice and intentional harm.
Our foundational belief is that each human being is precious, and science should reinforce this premise. However, some modern scientific enterprises now threaten to compromise and destroy our very humanity. SALT exists to counter this threat. We are a collaboration of expert scientists resolved to guide the development of technologies that are both effective and ethically sound.
Science and technology can be confusing, especially when sorting facts from fiction and truth from lies. SALT exists to examine the science, weed out misinformation, and offer clarity. Many care deeply about human life, especially when making important healthcare decisions. SALT provides accurate and timely information over a broad range of life science topics to equip others with scientific knowledge and truth when making sound decisions with a clear conscience that directly impact our humanity and human life.
